Langley Pond Park

About

Known as the world’s largest pond! Just short of being a lake, this refreshing body of water plays hosts to regattas, triathlons, water ski and wakeboard competitions. It’s the perfect place to water-ski, jet ski, swim, fish, picnic, or paddleboard. Leashed dogs are welcome and there is a large swimming area with a sandy beach for getting a great tan. There are no lifeguards on duty at the pond. A bathhouse, playground, covered picnic area, grills, concession stand, boat ramp, special events area, and dock are on site to make family fun and corporate outings a breeze.

At this time the shelters are not available to rent, but are on a first come first served basis.

Restrooms and Swim Area open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Langley Pond features a 2000 meter rowing course with eight fully buoyed lanes. Facilities include a finish line tower, boat ramp with boat dock, swim area, concession stand, large picnic shelter, grills, bathhouse, playground, and sandy beach. The parking area allows for trailer parking and additional parking near the picnic shelter. Regattas at Langley Pond include the Augusta Invitational, which takes place annually in March and the US Rowing Masters Championship in June.
